Dr. Staci Whitman is a trailblazing leader in functional dentistry, passionately redefining oral healthcare through a whole-body lens. She is board-certified in pediatric dentistry, integrative biologic dentistry, and naturopathic dentistry, and is among the very few dentists worldwide to hold certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFMCP). Her mission is clear: to create a cavity-free world while optimizing health from the mouth outward.
As the founder of one of the country’s premier functional pediatric dental practices, Dr. Staci approaches oral health as an integral part of overall wellness, particularly in children and women. Her clinical focus includes the oral microbiome, airway and sleep health, hormonal balance, and nutritional status, with a strong emphasis on prevention, early intervention, and personalized care.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Staci is a passionate entrepreneur. She is the co-founder of Feed Your Good Guys (Fygg), an oral microbiome-friendly oral care brand, and Happi Floss, a playful brand with planetary health as a main focus. She is the co-founder of the Institute for Functional Dentistry, an educational platform aimed at empowering practitioners globally with the tools to integrate functional principles into their dental practices.
Dr. Staci is also an author, with her first book set to debut soon as part of a larger series focused on whole-body oral health, empowering families and individuals to take charge of their well-being. As a global speaker and educator, she shares her expertise on topics such as the oral-gut-brain axis, remineralization, cavity arrest, women's health, and the profound interconnections between oral health and whole-body optimization.
Driven by science, compassion, and a love of innovation, Dr. Staci continues to shape the future of oral healthcare—one healthy smile at a time.
